Join MSDE content specialists Laura Aberg and Meg Kinlaw as they provide information on how to more effectively use data to inform school improvement planning and to close gaps in literacy across student groups. 

By the end of the session, administrators will be able to: 

*Situate the Collaborative Improvement Cycle within the broader improvement stages equation (source: National Implementation Research Network) 

*Understand types of data and their purpose 

*Use data to identify a gap in Tier 1, analyze the gap, create action step(s), and analyze the outcome 

*Apply the steps of a Collaborative Improvement Cycle to hypothetical scenarios
